The white rhino is the largest of all rhinocerous species. The name does not refer to white skin but 'weit', an African word meaning 'wide mouth'.
7" Plush Baby Rhino (SKU: L030071)Here is a small but very cute plush baby rhino. A rhino calf has a 14-18 month gestation peroid. When the calf is born it will be on it's feet in a few hours. The baby calf will nurse for about a year but it will also start to eat vegetation after one week. The baby calf will remain with the mother for about 3 years.
